For years I have been working my holistic health business without fail. Being super dedicated to the needs of the people and providing the highest quality products and services possible. I remember the days of making my aromatherapy line of products after I finished school for it. I was amazed at the results people were getting with my product line and I loved using my aromatherapy products myself. Then I got into Reiki and did it for free for several months, just to introduce the concept of hands on healing and energy work. I didn’t stop there because every time I would learn a new skill, I would offer it for free to the public and I didn’t mind. Some people would return and some didn’t. It didn’t matter if it was free or not, it was more of a question of whether these people felt my services were a necessity in their life. The sad thing is that health and spirituality will never be a priority to most people until something detrimental happens that threatens their way of life.
At that point, the holistic practitioner (myself) is at the mercy of the people. It is impossible to make a living this way because you are simply waiting for someone to respond to your ads or knock on your door. I know several holistic health practitioners that don’t do the work full time because they can’t afford it. They can’t quite figure out why things aren’t working for them. Soon the practitioner begins to question what it is they teach, especially if they are into metaphysics and new age beliefs. The reason is because the universal laws are usually taught by holistic practitioners and if they cannot be living proof that they work, then they become very discouraged and basically give up a little bit every day. I can totally relate to this attitude because I myself have gone through it somewhat, I just never gave up. In my mind, it has always been room for self improvement.
Since in business what I have learned is that when you first start out, your first wave of clients will be your family and friends, then that wears out pretty soon. The second wave will come from your advertisements be it radio, articles, banners, SEO marketing or whatever. It takes at least 3 months of running these ads before you get a consistent flow of clients. By the 6th month, and if you have been working your manifestation mojo, you should be flowing well with a regular base of clientele that you service weekly. You keep the monthly specials coming and if business ever slows down you have promotional specials and the such. Technology has given many business owners, especially holistic health professionals a platform to reach people nationwide. The experienced practitioner knows that after working on 15 to 25 people a week, you will have your days where you just want to take a break. However, as a start up business and especially if it is just one person running the business, not working means you don’t get paid. As a result, many of us have included products, workshops, retreats, and the such to suffice for the times where we need time to ourselves or business slows down. Business owners either spend too much time on business management and less on business development or vice versa. Unfortunately, you cannot do one without the other if you want your business to be self-sustaining.
I began to notice in 2007 that many of the well known self-help authors, spiritual teachers, and holistic health professionals were participating in affiliate marketing and wealth sharing programs. At that time, I did like most, I shrugged at the idea because I didn’t want to do anything that would take away from my time of running my own business. My logic was: why would I spend that much time working for someone else when I could put all that hard work into myself? The answer that I didn’t quite understand back then was: residual income, oh, and not to put all of your eggs in one basket if you know what I mean.
I had been researching internet businesses and affiliate programs ever since the days I worked as a legal secretary. I hated my job and I wanted out – badly. So I did internet research every single day, while at work. lol. I didn’t even care.. ok! that is where my mind was as a matter of fact, some of you are probably at work reading this now! Caught ya! Anywho, I started getting emails and phone calls a couple of years ago from the assistants of some pretty prominent people that wanted me to participate in their affiliate programs. I said to myself, ok, if such and such is doing it, there must be something going on that I missed. After all, these were people that I looked up to, that inspired me and taught me the meat and potatoes of what I do all day every day. These were people that had made appearances on national television shows like Oprah. So I had to have a talk with my angels to see what was going on in the world.
When I heard about Crazygood, I honestly took my time and didn’t rush into it because I already had so much on my plate. Then I began to think about all of the possibilities like getting groups of holistic practitioners and spiritual healers to join so they don’t have to financial struggle anymore. I thought about the many nonprofit organizations that needed help because funding is scarce with the conditions of the economy. I thought about the youth that are not able to go to college because their parents can’t afford it. I thought about the people who have been laid off for months because of the hiring freeze that has taken over multiple corporations. I saw a way to answer everyone’s problem if they all agreed to work together. Needless to say, I joined and I have been making money ever since and I have easily been able to get others to join. I realize now that not everyone is will to invest $10 in themselves because of the fear they posses, but I saw the vision my angels gave me and I ran with it.
Crazygood changed my life because it showed me how I had limited my wealth and abundance to my current businesses. My mind and consciousness did not allow God or the universe to manifest it to me through other creative formats because I was closed to it. Since I have been making money and my perspective on abundance and wealth has been solidified, I have been presented with other opportunities that have blown my mind. Here there are thousands of people, during a time when the economy is supposed to be “bad”, that are making hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions. I saw and continue to see how these people are taking control of their lives and becoming the co-creators they have always dreamed of. There are single mothers and stay at home moms making big bucks simply by changing their perspective on how their wealth and abundance can be made manifest to them.
When I started sharing with people how I am making money with Crazygood I thought they would be inspired to join, but they are not. My testimony went in one ear and out the other. That is when I realized that there is a serious mental disease around abundance taking place with every day people. They have no excitement about wealth. They are doubtful they will ever experience it. There abundance vibration is not even felt. They have no sense of direction with their financial future. This is very disheartening and sad to me to watch people choose to struggle. People are so full of poverty consciousness that they don’t even recognize wealth when it slaps them in the face. I had to shift my focus and associate myself with those that are not only excited about it, but believe they deserve it and it is ok to have it. I tell ya, it is like a secret hidden in wide open space only everyone keeps walking by it and refuses to stop and examine the detail.
Don’t be like me and pass up things that can change your life. Meditate and pray on it for a week or two – with an open mind to see if this is the kind of thing for you. Whether it is through Crazygood or another affiliate or wealth sharing program, don’t just toss it to the side, actually try to see what it is all about because it just may be the very answer you have been praying for.
